Target Audience

Natural teams such as departmental teams, function teams or project teams that are working together under one leader, have a structure and hierarchy

Such teams may be facing issues such as inter-personal amongst its members that hinder the ability of the team to deliver

Typical symptoms that surface in teams that necessitate the need for an intervention are:

  • Emergence of sub groups with in the team with members of one group not getting along with members of the other groups
  • Frequent need by team leader to intervene and sort out issues between team members
  • Back biting and whisper campaigns are a habit amongst team members
  • General lack of bonhomie and bonding amongst team members
  • Lack of sharing of information
  • Prevailing of my turf attitude amongst team members

Workshop Methodology followed

Concern Validation study (consisting of direct interviews with team members, its management and internal customers) to understand root cause of problems
Design training intervention in consultation with team management

Conduct Team Effectiveness Workshop

  • Measure team issues using team questionnaire
  • Use Team Games and facilitated discussions to help team to table the issues on a common platform
  • Help team to root cause the issues
  • Use psychometric analysis to generate better understanding of self and team members
  • Use natural environment and adventure activities to help team bond with each other emotionally.
  • Bring team members to a platform of higher understanding and use this to formu late solutions to sort out issues

Implement post workshop action plan by team to ensure sorting of identified team issues

Review implementation of team plan to ensure long term effectiveness
